Inspired by the colors and romance of Santorini, this painting was completed after a trip to Greece in the spring of 2004.  It is said, the blue colors represent the sea and the white represents the whitecaps in the sea.  Although it was a short visit to Santorini, I will always have the desire to return.  Santorini is formed by a volcano.  The water inside the volcano is so deep that cruise ships cannot drop anchor.
